My CADD goal is to design these two sketches. One is a a quart of paint and the other is a roll of tape. For me to accomplish my goal, i have to make the dimensions the same as the dimensions in the picture.
After drawing this Oblique rubix cube and cube with a pipe going through it, i found that it was harder to draw than the isometric drawings. It doesn't have the same cubic shape and made it look more like a rectangular prism. The pipe entering through the cube was difficult to draw at first because it did not have the dimensions of how much pipe should stick out on each side.
I created this number two in Cadd using an isometric box with a length of 5 inches, 3 inches wide, and depth of 1.5 inches. I used a regular face of 2 and then switched the graph to isometric to make the oblique number 2
In this drawing i had to design the date in Cadd. Each one of my numbers and letters are my style and it reads "May 21, 2014".. The only problem or hardest part was making the "M" because it had all different angles.
What i did in this drawing was draw my car as a sketch to make in cadd. It was very easy to draw but the most difficult part was the small details and getting perfect circles for the wheels.
I started my drawing of my subaru today and this is how far i have gotten. This is just the basic sketch but i started with a simple box and added on to it. I will post the finished project when it is complete.
This the final drawing of my 2004 Subaru Impreza Wrx Sti. It was very difficult to draw especially because of the curves and precise edges. I was able to add in the lug nuts on the wheels and add small details in the headlights and tailights.
These are my last 3 Cadd drawings of the year. Based on the designs i have learned this year, i drew a oblique, isometric, and single view drawings. These were very difficult to draw at first but over the course of the year they have become easier and easier.
